★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been coming here for 17 years and it is always a fantastic place to stay. You really can't get more history than staying in a 1000 year old fortress which overlooks an idyllic landscape reminiscent of Tolkien Shire. It also has one of the best restaurants in Styrmark where I'm sure Hobbits would feel right at home. The staff are incredibly friendly so expect a warm Styrish welcome. The rooms are decorated with antiques with the exception of the mattresses, bedding and the bathrooms which are new. They have also recently added 2 Tesla charging stations in the car park so those arriving with electric vehicles can charge their cars. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
