Complete Rip-Off Merchants If you have not been to this restaurant before don’t go. You are lucky. It’s a complete pre-setup & rehearsed rip-off. Both people running it pretend not to speak English or German or understand anything said to them. Spaghetti Carbonara x 4 were rubbish, no sauce or flavour with bits of fat. Received four instead of two ordered. Two antipasti not requested but forced upon us – owner indication ‘on him’ were Є25.00 per plate. As a result the overall bill of Є146.00 euros was numerically Є50.00 too much. True price being of the order of Є71.00 To repeat, do not use this establishment to avoid being ripped-off.

We must have been in a lot of luck, because we had a weird but good experience. The food was amazing, we wanted a foccacia with prosciutto, which apparently wasn't on the menu, but they made it for us and it was great. We also had truffle pasta which was one of the best I've ever had. It's true that the owner is too pushy, giving us antipasti we insisted we didn't want, but we were not charged for them, so the bill was more than reasonable for the quality food.

Lovely but weird experience! The food is just awesome and prices are ok if you know what you take! We followed the tips of not asking for something that was not listed and as a result we paid 34€ for two pasta and two glasses of wine (12.50€ for the pasta and 4.50€ for the wine). The atmosphere is actually weird since nobody speaks any other language than Italian. In my case it was ok cause I do speak Italian, but the waiters really want to represent the Italian stereotype, ending up being a bit too much. Must say the wine was not the best but the pasta, especially the Amatriciana, was outstanding!

People, keep in mind that this is a genuine Italian shop/restaurant. Haggling about prices is typically Italian and part of the culture and experience. They offer you free samples so you can decide what's right for you before buying. Of course they are trying to push their products. If you want 500 grams and he offers you a quantify discount for 1kg, it's totally up to you what you go for. Articulate your decision clearly. Firmly repeat if necessary. To people living in Innsbruck and Tyrol, it will definitely come agross as pushy. But that's just their culture. Consider it a little Italian isle in the heart of Innsbruck. I just went in to have a look around but ended up paying Eur 130. But that was my free decision! I might as well have walked out spending nothing. I do if nothing catches my eye.

Actually, the problem is not the food, it's quiet good food. But the boss is playing a role of the Italian that only speak Italian and is pushing to sell you what he want. You need to tell him a huge NO for getting what you would like. Otherwise he will give you whatever he want... And of course the prices are expensive and not written. And the boss was making us feeling inconfortable the whole meal.

OVERPRICED TOURIST TRAP! No menu given, but plenty of suggestions. At the end of the meal and lots of 'friendly' talk, we were asked to pay EUR 150 'special price' without a bill. But when we requested an itemized bill, it came to EUR 130, which was still too much for what we got, e.g., Antipasti for 2 people at EUR 25. Obviously, our mistake to order without a menu ... :-(

PLEASE PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE!! This place is highly over priced for what it is and the owner is a creepy and pushy man. The owner did not give us a menu and did not tell us the price of anything until we were surprised by a bill. We had intentions of ordering a set dish from a menu. However, as we could not speak any Italian the man just started bringing out dishes for us without even asking and tried to tell us this is what we asked for. The owner also makes you feel very uncomfortable if you are a young women and is very insistent on close dancing with you
