Stepped in this restaurant by accident, but it was amazing! The service is friendly and the food is great. Schnitzels are giant and the desserts taste wonderful too. Definitely will be back!

We have been enjoying marvelous culinary delights and outstanding service here for many years. Somewhere the locals are happy to eat as well as thousands of repeat holiday customers. The menu is first rate and in twenty years we have never had something we wouldn't recommend. Hard working family business who make your visit very worth while. They love well behaved families and you can take your baby or teenage kids, everyone welcome! ☺️

We arrived a few minutes before the kitchen closes (21:00) in a large group. Nevertheless, the management and the kitchen agreed to serve us. The food was delicious, the portions generous, and the service top notch. Despite inconveniencing the restaurant by arriving late without a reservation, everyone was friendly and professional, and we enjoyed a very pleasant meal. All in all, 5/5!

come here for a fantastic, giant cordon bleu or any other typical austrian food, very well prepared. this place is a bit off the mainroad and not as busy as some of the others - which is a good thing. well worth the detour, nice interieur as well.

The Reiterstüberl Restaurant lies a 10-minute walk from Westendorf's village centre. Out of the many very good eating houses in the Brixen valley, the Reiterstüberl rightly earns a place near the top of our family recommendations. It has earned that acclaim over a number of years for three main reasons which come together to make a visit here a delight. 1) The Tirolean charm of the interior as well as the delightful outdoor eating area complete with smoker and mountain views. 2) The consistently good food, prepared by chef cook Hannes and his team. Good locally sourced products, finely seasoned from their own herb garden including regular seasonal features such as wild deer from the forest, lamb from the hills and nearby fresh-water lake fish. Accompanying traditional summer and winter dishes, you will expect excellence in the presentation of fresh vegetables and home-made pasta specialities (Spätzele). There is a fine choice of deserts and a range of children's dishes all at reasonable prices. Hannes, Sylvia and team make the perfect hosts and present an eloquent wine-list of excellent Austrian and regional wines for a variety of tastes. 3) Gastgemütlichkeit : Hospitality : A genuinely friendly, pleasant place to return to summer or winter. Tip: The Reiterstüberl is popular with locals and guests. A reservation is recommended at busy times. You will be warmly welcomed.
