The outside terrace was crowded but we managed to find a table. inside the hut was empty.(I suppose with COVID-19 not many people want to be in an inside space). What we observed is that one male waiter and one tall female waitress were extremely unfriendly. The worst was that the tables were not wiped off after people left. We had to wipe off the table ourselves. With the current situation, this basic hygiene is practiced in many outdoor places. Food was good, reasonably priced, service was poor.
Views from top are good, but you can enjoy that without enduring the rude staff in this hut.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are in the area this is a must visit place. The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious and the view is stunning. Even better to stay over night and enjoy the sunset. The rooms are modern, spacious and very clean. Some of them have a crazy huge terasse which is perfect for star gazing. Definitely not our last visit.
Ohh, a big bonus for celiacs. Staff is very knowledgeable regarding gluten and the kitchen provides some customized gluten free options.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic mountain hut in the heart of Salzburg.
Me and my girlfriend took a hike up on the Roßbrand and had lunch in this very modern looking establishment. The food was exquisite which we weren’t expecting for a place so high up. We were also impressed by the incredible view and attentive staff.
We will definitely be visiting again.
