Mit dem Ergebnis waren bis auf eine kleine Ausnahme sehr zufrieden. Da fing der mühsame Teil an: Das Sekretariat war erschreckend unfreundlich und schnippsich. Darum leider nur zwei Sterne. The quality of the work was top. The on-site advice was good, the workers very friendly and professional. We were very satisfied with the result with one small exception. Then the tedious part began: the secretariat was terrifyingly unfriendly and snippy. So unfortunately only two stars.

Das ist nun schon mehr als 25 Jahre her, noch Heute sind die Türen schön, nichts ist abgeplatzt oder löst sich, für mich bemerkenswert. Zugegeben was vor 25 Jahren war, wer die Arbeiten gemacht hat und welche Materialien Damals verwendet wurden, ist Heute nicht mehr relevant. Dennoch ist es mir ein Bedürfnis die Möglichkeit hier zu nutzen um meine Eindrücke bzw. Erfahrungen anderen potenziellen Kunden zu schildern und der Firma Portas mein Lob dafür auszusprechen. My experiences with Portas are rather indirect. I live in a small apartment in which the doors were renovated by the previous tenant at Portals. That was more than 25 years ago, the doors are still beautiful today, nothing has chipped or comes off, remarkable for me. Granted, what was 25 years ago, who did the work and what materials were used back then, is no longer relevant today. Nevertheless, I feel the need to use the opportunity here to describe my impressions and experiences to other potential customers and to express my praise to Portas.

Und die Dame im Sekretariat ist alles andere, als was man sich am Telefon oder im schriftverkehr wünscht. The order acceptance was impeccable. With rework, the work was satisfactory. But with a very long delay. And the lady in the secretariat is anything but what you want on the phone or in correspondence.
