★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cool place, but the museum has closed down! Can only go inside the lobby. It is free, and a pretty cool excursion if you're into architecture. Designed by Otto Wagner and is right across the street from the old ministry of war building that is pretty cool to see too. Will only take about 10-15 minutes to see everything

Located in the touristy area of center Vienna, this museum is completely free with stunning architecture both interior and exterior. Ample materials to get a teaser of how Wagner as a genius has deeply influence buildings in times. MUST SEE. Avoid those expensive museums if you just have one day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Built from 1904 to 1906 als k.k. Postsparcassen-Amt (Postal Savings Bank) by Otto Wagner, renovated 2004. Sold 2013 to the Signa Holding, at the moment (2018, until end of September) there is a exhibition together with the MAK (Museum für angewndte Kunst, museum of applied art) about the architect Otto Wagner, free in the Postsparkasse. but the MAK (nearby on Stubenring)) is not free. What will be after the end of the exhibition is not known yet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not over-comunicated but this is actually a small museum, dedicated to the history of the building. Free entry, no crowds! Very nicely renovated!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For the Otto Wagner 100th year death anniversary, the Postal Savings Bank is open for public visit for ablimited time. Very beautiful building and excellent exhibition allowing one to know the history of Austria's banking system.
