[ response to the fake profile and scam accusations: I came up with many arguments to why my opinion is like this, if I'm lyeing or wrong you can disagree with me or correct me with arguments. You say it's a fake profile? I put literally my name here. I have better stuff to do than to complain about random businesses in google maps for no reason...] I'm going to do a decent review to explain why I'm disappointed with this school and their methods of teaching. I came there because of the cheap prices I found on a poster on the streets. I believed that it was cheaper because of the lack of recognized certificate, and since I just wanted to learn, I had no problem with that. Please read it all if you consider studying here or if you are lazy, just skip to the conclusion. #1: with all my years of english school, a few months of german and being son of a english teacher, I know that other languages must be avoided at all costs. If you learn german, you should speak only german in class. Of course some students might not follow it, but in this place, the effort was almost zero. The teacher had full conversations in serbian with some students all the time, ignoring the rest of the class. #2: The levels don't have beginning nor ending, it's an endless cycle of A1, A2, B1... You just pay for a month in each cycle. I started there and for a whole week we were just doing exercises and receiving answers. Zero teaching and zero explanation. I complained to the secretary and she said it's because they are preparing for the test... I just started it, why should I be preparing for a test? #3: There is no book to be followed. A language book is carefully made to introduce you to a new language in the most efficient way possible. Starting from the most basic to more complex rules, preparing you for the next level. Here, they just print random exercises and since there's no start and beginning, the line of teaching is completely out of order. #4: The levels are wrong and weak. I got there and went straight to B1 without any placement test, and in my class I had people with really good german and people who couldn't understand anything the teacher said and was struggling a lot. Not their fault, but the school's, they were in the wrong level. #5: The teaching is extremely weak. I can say that my whole month there was useless. The most complex thing I learned in B1 were "weil, deshalb, ob...." That should've been taught in A2. When it came to Pretäritum the teacher gave us a 10 min explanation of what it was and made us read a whole story in Pretäritum. I knew because I learned it before, but I saw many of my colleagues just trying to understand what was happening. #6: No substitute teachers. My teacher missed a total of 4 days (almost a week from the month I had) and every time, my class was sent to the lower A2 class overpopulating it. The teacher was a little better, but it just wasn't my level. If B1 was weak, imagine A2... I complained and they gave me 4 extra classes in B1 again, which was useless since I had already booked other classes and couldn't attend this extra week. Conclusion: I don't recommend it to anyone. After my first day, I asked my money back and they refused it. So if you made it this far and still want to study there, I would suggest for you to at least ask for one free class just to see if you like it or not and not get rejected when asking for the money back like I was. There I met many people and many commented on how bad it was, some even gave up on coming. I don't know how they have this many 5 star reviews here, but if you pay attention, none of them have many details on how the school performs, just say it's the best. And before you ask, I'm not the type of person that complains about everything, but since a lot of money was thrown into the trash, I felt like I had the obligation to at least warn others. I never regretted so much on buying something in my life.
