★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Für die Wanderung hoch zur Hütte brauchten wir knappe 2 Stunden. Der Weg ist sehr gut ausgebaut. Wer Ruhe sucht, sollte eine andere Route wählen
 It took us just under 2 hours to hike up to the hut. The path is very well developed. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you should choose a different route

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vom Schlegeis zur Olpererhütte,das muss jeder mal gemacht haben.Der Weg ist anstrengend aber die Hütte dann ein Ziel mit top Aussicht.Hinzu kommt das super freundliche u voll organisierte Personal was immer weiterhelfen kann.Wir waren nicht zum erstenmal hier u kommen sicher wieder.
Naja u.wer schon einmal oben ist kann dann auch noch die paar Schritte zur wohl bekanntesten Brücke machen.Aber Achtung Staugefahr Ein Foto will jeder u nur einer darf auf die Brücke.Auf der Terrasse vom Olpererhaus dürfen zum Glück mehr Leute rauf.

From Schlegeis to Olpererhütte, everyone has to have done it. The way is exhausting but the hut is a destination with a great view. In addition, there is the super friendly and fully organized staff who can always help. We were not here for the first time and will definitely be back .
Well, and if you have already reached the top, you can take the few steps to what is probably the most famous bridge. But beware of traffic jams Everyone wants a photo and only one is allowed on the bridge. Fortunately, more people are allowed to go up on the terrace of the Olpererhaus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite steep. A bit slippery. The view is really nice. It takes longer to walk up. Walking down takes about 1,5 hours without rushing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazingly Beautiful view! The trail head is accessible by public transport. You have to take a bus from Mayrhofen bahn which is accessible by Zillertal bahn. The hiking is not like walking on the road but it's not difficult either. If you stop in between (which you will to take photos or a bit of rest), I will say it takes around 2hours to go up. But the view is heavenly.
Do go a bit further ahead leaving the hut to the wooden bridge. It's a picture perfect place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful hiking trail that took me about 1 and a half hour, but that depends on your walking speed. For children and elders it’s a little hard, but for adults and teenagers it’s alright. Lately this place gained quite a lot of attention, so it might be busy (especially at the bridge at the top). Definitely an amazing place you can’t miss when visiting the area.
