Leider an den Wochenenden überlaufen.
Aber immer wieder einen Besuch wert.
Es ist rundherum sehr sauber und
Wege sind gut in Schuss .
Es lohnt sich auch mit dem Mountainbike eine Runde zu drehen.
Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hier her.
A wonderful piece of nature framed in a wonderful mountain panorama.
Unfortunately overcrowded on the weekends.
But always worth a visit.
It is all around very clean and
Paths are in good shape.
It is also worth taking a ride on a mountain bike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wunderschöner See mit tollem Bergblick. Der See word gerne als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen ins Plateau des toten Gebirges genutzt. Wildensee, Rinnerkogel, Rinnerhütte, Albert-Appel-Haus sowie einige Selbstversorgerhütten sind innerhalb weniger Stunden erreichbar. Für geübte Wanderer ist auch der Rundgang Rinnerkogel-Hochkogel innerhalb eines Tages zu bewerkstelligen.
Beautiful lake with great mountain views. The lake is often used as a starting point for hikes into the plateau of the dead mountains. Wildensee, Rinnerkogel, Rinnerhütte, Albert-Appel-Haus and some self-catering huts can be reached within a few hours. Experienced hikers can also do the Rinnerkogel-Hochkogel tour within a day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein Traum Karibik in der schönen Gemeinde Ebensee. Und auch zum Baden lässt der schöne See nicht lange auf sich warten. Für Kinder finde ich ihn super toll, da man sehr weit gehen kann bis es zum Schwimmen wird

Den See zu umrunden dauert etwa 2 h mit Kinder bei viel Wegbereich im Halb- Voll Schatten
Wonderful view of a breathtaking crystal clear lake.
It takes about 2 hours to walk around the lake with children and there is a lot of path in half and full shade

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning mountain lake, cool swimming in Summer, ice skating sometimes in Winter. There are two small cafes for snacks and refreshments and lots of great hikes in immediate area.
