Always beautiful. Not too difficult a climb. Wonderful view of the Traunsee and its surrounding villages and mountains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich glaub einer der schönsten Blicke auf den Traunsee und Traunstein. Ich bin vom großen Sonnstein gekommen und habe den kleinen „Bruder“ mitgenommen. Gerne wieder ??
I think one of the most beautiful views of the Traunsee and Traunstein. I came from the big Sonnstein and took the little "brother" with me. Gladly again ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leider an Wochenenden spätestens seit Covid sehr überlaufen, aber die landschaftliche Schönheit spricht für sich. Für ganz kleine Kinder eher nicht geeignet (außer sie lassen sich gerne in der Kraxe tragen), Gipfelbereich an Nord und Ostflanke ausgesetzt. Hütte außer Juli und August nur am WE bewirtschaftet (ehrenamtlich durch Bergrettung Traunkirchen)
Unfortunately very crowded on weekends at least since Covid, but the scenic beauty speaks for itself. Not suitable for very small children (unless they like to be carried in the child carrier), the summit area exposed on the north and east flanks. Hut open only on weekends except July and August (voluntary by the Traunkirchen mountain rescue service)
