★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Owners of this hotel saved our lives. Their restaurant is closed today. They were so nice to offer us a beer. It is hot day today. It is fantastic view from the outside restaurant. Nice and quiet place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: fantastic location overviewing the valley like an eagle. Combination of an (operating) farm, hotel, and apartments. We had a 6p apartment with valley view - fantastic. We could park our (full electric) car right next to the apartment under a roof, with the socket right next to it, so charging your car is possible here. Apartment of very high quality standard, modern as well as local style. Breakfast (served at the table) also very nice, including a lovely yoghurt with muesli freshly prepared each morning.. Negative: one point of attention, which is something the landlord can't really help, is that the '2nd bedroom' which is an open attic inside the living room gets quite warm during very hot weather. There is no window at that level that can open. 'warm bedrooms' is in our experience an increasing problem in the mountains as climate change progresses - the hotel hosts in the Alps still think of the good old days when it was really cool during the night. Note that the doors of the apartment can be opened at night to cool off, as those doors have anti-insect doors as well..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Beautiful place, high up on the mountainside. The view is amazing, makes you happy every morning. The owners were super nice and caring. The room was beautiful, new, and clean. The kitchen is perfect, really well equipped, much better than anywhere I've ever been. We didn't try the local piste, but it is right out the door. Kaprun and Zell am See are just a 15min drive away. Must be great in summer too!.
