The tips: 1, prepare all your documents before visiting. ( you can email them to ask if something is unclear for you, but normally all the requirements are very clear on the official website, you may even use the online form and print the PDF with you) 2, make every document a copy, and some 10cents coin for using the copy machine inside the building. Very friendly staff and they work very efficiently even it looks like a long queue. just be patient ~◕‿◕

We applied with my new born son at the same time for the residence and they give me for 3 year but 1 year to him. Why are you really doing this what is your point? Do you expect me to give hime away after 1 year?

After a year waiting for informations about an ongoing citezinship process, I sent an e-mail to MA35 waiting for news, and they were very quickly on solving my situation and finishing the process. Thank you Mr. E.W.

I HATE MA35 I HATE MA35 I HATE MA35 I HATE MA35 I HATE MA35 It was a nightmare to get in touch with MA35 and I was in a depression while I was in touch with MA35. I think sometimes they forced me to death. It is the worst organization I have ever seen. They don't answer emails and phones. They lost my documents and said they didn't received my application. I have been waiting for so long and they informed me they never received my application. My scholarship would be cancelled due to MA35 and I hate MA35 and now I have worst feelings about Austria due to MA35. I want to give them zero if I could.

I got nervous before getting here due to all negative feedbacks, but once I get there, I had a very good support and all the attendees spoke English. What I recommend you to do before getting here for your application is, as a non-EU citizen, make sure to have all documents officially translated with their respective copies required from their website (even those that "may be required" like the criminal records). If you bring all of them well organized and hand them in, you will get everything done in around 40 minutes.

Terrible, I had applied, paid and got a confirmation of a resident´s card and never received the actual card. I have been sending emails for 2 years now and nobody answers. My confirmation is from February 2020! I was promised to receive it within a few weeks.

I have the most pleasant experience with Frau Niedermayer in MA 35 who worked for my Staatsbürgerschaft Verleihung: efficient, precise, direct to the point & ready-to-help any time! Got the citizenship in 3 months! I am full of application, to Frau Niedermayer and to MA 35!!

Below is my recent experience / tips for dealing with MA35. I just concluded my citizenship process with MA-35 and had a very positive experience with them - they were very professional, knowledgable and friendly. In additionl, they managed to do it in exactly 12 weeks (that's super fast)! The recent improvements MA35 pushed are now taking effect, I know more than one person who also got the citizenship in a few months. Some tips to make your experience swift and smooth with MA35: - Be VERY organized with your application: Make sure you don't miss anything and organize your papers in an orderly manner - MA35 employees are VERY busy, so you don't want to waste their time by having them do extra work on organizing your papers - Be polite: These folks have enough stress working in a public office and dealing with so many different people (some of whom are not so nice), so being rude to them hardly helps them do their job (which is mainly about serving you) - Don't spam them: The lady responsible for my application politely asked me not to contact her before 6 months after my application was submitted, she mentioned she has tens of other applications - I just smiled and said 'Sure, I understand'. Before the 6 months were over, I got a positive response - so there is really no point in botheirng them every once in a while with a 'HI IS IT DONE YET?' email - doesn't really help ! In a notshell: Be organitzed, be polite and don't be annoying. If you do these 3 things: It will definitely make your application process smooth for them.
