Really neat monument especially if you get a free tour! The guide will tell you everything about this big park, and how Mozart use to go there and take some walks in the old times. The flowers and the landscape is really precious. Being there on summer is great because you can get the colors and enjoy the vibrant city.

One of the most popular statues to see in Vienna is the Mozart Statue at Burggarten. This is a delightful Laas marble monument created by Austrian sculptor Viktor Tilgner in 1896. Here you see in Mozart in concert attire, peering proudly with his right hand extended while his right rests upon a decorative music stand. The pedestal is is quite attractive as well. You'll find gilding, inscriptions, bronze wreath and instruments and cherubs glancing upwards towards Mozart. The bottom bas includes reliefs from one of Mozart's most famous operas - Don Giovanni. In front of the Mozart statue is a flower bed in the shape of a musical note. This looks very nice when the flowers are in bloom. Unfortunately, you won't see this if visiting during colder months of the year. However, you might be able to see the monument with snow on the ground, this makes for interesting sightseeing as well.

Mozart is a great and talented composer and in this place you can take photo with him with a red treble clef. That is a cool place for music lover.

This monument stands in tribute to Wolfgang Mozart, the great Austrian composer and pianist. The monument features sculptures made of white marble. One of the sculptures is a statue Mozart with a music stand, sculpted in a Romantic style. The socle is adorned with references to music and theatre such as ornaments, masks and wreaths. Also on the socle is relief sculptures from one of Mozart’s most famous operas, Don Giovanni. The monument is beautifully set in Burggarten, just behind a flowerbed, which accentuates the monument when the flowers are in full bloom.

Statue of mozart with a musical note in the grass in front of it. Being winter there were no flowers but you could imagine it. The statue itself was nice and quite tall.

A monument to Mozart It could have some panel describing some fun fact or something. Also in the winter the treble clef is sad ?

The first contact with Mozart is made as soon as you land by plane at Vienna airport. His music accompanies you all the time you stay at the airport. His fame is normal as long as his name contains the word Art within him. Mozart nice statue.
