The marble hall alone is worth a visit to the museum. Discover world history, exciting collections of knights and the exhibition of old musical instruments.

So gorgeous place! For Mexicans it's free entrance if you show your passport. You can spend at least 3 hours, 3 floors. It's really beautiful. ❤️

The Weltmuseum Wien in Vienna is the largest anthropological museum in Austria, established in 1876. It currently resides in the Hofburg Imperial Palace and houses more than 400,000 ethnographical and archaeological objects from Asia, Africa, Oceania, and America

Collection of art and craft from all over the world. The building is amazing itself. Old imperial palace. Made me reflect about the precious this tribal treasures are for their original Homeland, and how they look today all together and piled up. Specially the original crown of Moctezuma. I saw the replica in Mexico and the original in Vienna.

Amazing museum. I really liked the exhibition "Unlearning Racism". The permanent collection is superb. The Building itself is incredible. Relaxed cafeteria.

The building itself is an attraction, but for my first visit, I went to the special exhibit on Steppe and Silk Road and found many interesting items and pieces of history. There is also a special exhibit called (Un)learning Racism for which we had an excellent guide. So much to learn and unlearn about racism so that we can make our world more kind and caring. I hope to visit again for the permanent exhibits.

Amazing museum with interesting and diverse exhibitions, all in a very nice building. Perfect for anyone who likes anthropology, history, medieval armour and weaponry, and unique musical instruments. You can even play some rare musical instruments on the top floor too!
