Dies ist ein Ausflug wert , komme wieder....
 You should have seen this Moarhofalm, really nice view, very well maintained and the owners are really great.
This is well worth the trip, will be back ....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine der gemütlichsten Hütten überhaupt, die Landschaft ein Traum, die Forellen kann man sich selber fangen wenn man will, die Hüttenwirte super freundlich, ich würde jeden Tag kommen ????
One of the cosiest huts ever, the landscape is a dream, you can catch the trout yourself if you want, the hut keepers are super friendly, I would come every day ????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die schönste und liebesvollste dekorierte Alm im Ennstal,der Blumenschmuck eine Augenweide. Die kleine Küche urig, Stube wie im Heimatfilm, da passt alles. Was kredenzt wird sehr sehr gut, der lauwarme Beerenkuchen zum niederknien.Die Wirtin,redselig,umsichtig, so muss es sein.Hier kann man mit der Seele baumeln, ein Platz zum Energie tanken.
The most beautiful and lovingly decorated Alm in the Ennstal, the floral decorations a feast for the eyes. The small, rustic kitchen, living room like in the Heimatfilm, everything fits. What is served is very, very good, the lukewarm berry cake to kneel down. The landlady, talkative, prudent, that's how it must be. Here you can relax with your soul, a place to recharge your batteries.

Der Garten ist einfach spitzenmäßig zum verweilen wie geschaffen auch hier waren Künstler tätig. Für Kinder ein Steichelzoo, Klettergerüst und Eisenbahn zum Spielen vorhanden, ideal.

The garden is simply great to linger as if it was created, artists were also active here. For children there is a petting zoo, climbing frame and train to play with, ideal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vom optischen her sicher eine der ältesten Almhütten in der Region.
Man findet sie, wenn man von Rohrmoos kommend oder über die Reiteralm weiter über die Mautstrasse zur Ursprungsalm, bzw. zur Wanderung zum Giglachsee fährt.
Die Almhüttte wurde liebevoll renoviert und hat noch den ursprünglichen Charakter erhalten.
Eine große Küche als Hauptraum von dem man in ein ein kleines Stüberl, sowie einen etwas größerer Raum als Gaststube kommt.
Beide Räume werden mit entsprechenden Kachelöfen beheizt.
Vor der Hütte gibt es eine Sonnenterasse mit schöner Aussicht auf die Umgebung, sowie den schön angelegten Garten mit einem kleinen Teich, Spielplatz und einigen Tieren.
Hervorragend sind die gegrillten Bachforellen, die sehr gut gewürzt serviert werden. Andere typische Hüttenspeisen, sowie Kuchen und Süssspeisen ergänzen das Angebot.
Der ideale Platz um nach einer Wanderung zum Giglachsee gemütlich zu Entspannen...
Das Bier in der Moarhofalm ist das bestgezapfte Bier ever....die Schaumkrone ist der Hammer....
In einem Nebengebäude ist die Toilette untergebracht und ein Raum für evtl. größere Feiern. Natürlich auch dem Charakter des Ganzen angepasst.
Einfach ein schöner Ort....
From a visual point of view, it is definitely one of the oldest alpine huts in the region.
You can find them when you come from Rohrmoos or via the Reiteralm and continue on the Mautstrasse to the Ursprungsalm, or to hike to the Giglachsee.
The alpine hut has been lovingly renovated and has retained its original character.
A large kitchen as the main room from which one comes into a small parlor, as well as a slightly larger room as a dining room.
Both rooms are heated with appropriate tiled stoves.
In front of the hut there is a sun terrace with a beautiful view of the surroundings, as well as the beautifully landscaped garden with a small pond, playground and some animals.
The grilled brown trout, which are served very well seasoned, are excellent. Other typical hut dishes, as well as cakes and desserts complete the offer.
The ideal place to relax after a hike to the Giglachsee ...
The beer in the Moarhofalm is the best draft beer ever ... the head of foam is awesome ...
The toilet and a room for possibly larger celebrations are located in an adjoining building. Of course, also adapted to the character of the whole.
Just a lovely place ....
