Mexican Cantina Salud

I went there a few days ago with my parents and i absolutely loved it! The food was GREAT, the waiters and waitresses were totally nice and friendly. It was a really nice evening. I can totally recommend this place. A lot of variation on the menu too. ?

The restaurant and food were amazing. Such a cool theme and atmosphere down an unassuming alleyway in Villach. I had the Blue Cheese Wings, which I can safely say after living in Austria for four years, are the best wings I've eaten in Austria. Plus, I had a mojito that was the perfect balance of lime and strong rum, which is often hard to get right. The issues we had was with the service. I ordered potato wedges with my wings. They didn't arrive with our food so I reminded the waiter I'd ordered them. About 10 minutes later (and half way through my wings) I reminded him again and he said they were on their way. Another 10 minutes later we reminded him again. By this time my friends and I had finished our food. We were told not to 'stress out' and that they were coming. A few minutes later they arrived (without an apology for their lateness) by the waiter. They were also delicious, but by that time I didn't really want to eat them. Then the next problem came when we paid. We spilt the bill between four groups. The first group ended up paying for 3 extra spritzers that nobody had ordered. Luckily, our friends had the mind to ask for the bill to double check and noticed the mistake. They of course got their money back, but the whole service left a sour taste in our mouth after the food and location had been so fantastic.

Great food and drinks, a hidden gem in Villach!

The food is good and delicious, we stayed here for a week, tried several restaurants, and we thought salud was the best restaurant here, so we visited twice in a week???

Great food, great people (musti is the best) and great drinks (for cocktails it is advisable to take advantage of the Happy Hours), comfy tables and enough space ( at least in summer when the garden is open :-))...

They made so much effort to make some vegan food. Super tasty drinks!

We came here twice in a row. Nice & colourful place, very friendly staff, tasty food, great cocktails and good music. What more do you want?
