Great outdoor cafe restaurant in a lovely spot in the middle of the park. Slightly more costly than your average cafe but not outside expectations. The coffee was good

Man, do I hate complaining, but here we go: The location and the atmosphere of the restaurant were quite nice. Some piano covers in the background kept my friends and myself in tune with each other. Nothing bad yet, all quite pleasant. But then, then waiter came. He was constantly looking away, pretending to be very busy. This led of course to the first round of beers being not what we ordered... just for 4 people. Trying to clear it up was more difficult than you might think. The second round of beers was a success but then the food came. When I picked the restaurant, i checked their food and the prices. It seemed a bit more special, a little pretentious but with good food combinations. The reality was disappointing. I ordered something similar to a burger but with boiled beef and coleslaw. That was pretty much to it...the beef wasn't seasoned and the burger just tasted bland. I know that salt is usually a matter of taste but my friends confirmed the basic taste and even complained about their dishes not being seasoned properly. We combined our foods to make up for a disappointing dinner and asked for some salt (which came in small single paper doses (like McDonalds salt :) ) unlike the pepper which was brought in a regular grinder/dispenser....i know, details, but it just felt cheap... Then another couple of beers and it was time to leave. The apogee of the evening: payment. The distracted waiter somehow booked some of our drinks to another table and couldn't retrace out order. He then asked us to recap what we had ordered. When I mentioned that this is unprofessional he asked me to "pay attention to him" ...(what he hasn't done with us for the whole evening). In the end, he did somehow put together our bill but it was split between what he booked for our table and a part of our neighboring table. I couldn't see a complete bill with a final price. Conclusion: Good location with nice ambiance. Less than average food with very unprofessional waiting.

Nice place, we were sitting outside, crows were funny and running on the tables, waiter was friendly, food was OK, toilet inside is clean. Enjoy)

Ordered sweet poatate wedges, and they cut a big on in 4.who would think that is alright?! It was raw on the inside and over seasoned obviously. Very disappointing and expensive. Also had a salad which was exremely salty. Would not recommended. Burger was alright and nice location, hance the 2 stars

1 for ambiance, 1 for children seats and reasonable timing of food, 1 for nice service, 1 missing as the food wasn't good enough (goat cheese was ok, soup was fine, backhendl salad was poor quality for the price and norm - potato salad was pure tasteless oil. Didn't even taste the kurbis), 1 missing as the order was never totally fulfilled after 4-5 times asking 2 servers. Meh, at least we weren't time pressed so we enjoyed the weather and people around.

After a nice walk in the park this is a lovely place to enjoy a coffee ☕ or any drink with something to eat. The restaurant has been refurbished and the glass sit in the glass area overlooking to the park is so beautiful. My favourite park ? and the restaurant. Lots of good memories.

Location surely would deserve 5 stars, food has a good quality and tastes good. It is nice to sit outside and enjoy the view of the Türkenschanzpark. Waitress are ok, they just mixing up the tables sometimes when they serve the food. What we really missed is a welcoming atmosphere - there is no warm welcome and staff is not working with love. So that sparkling something from the hospitality is definitely missing.

The food is excellent (breakfast includes homemade jam!!!). Great place to come with small children... horrible place to come if you want some peace. Honestly, I don't know if it's how it always is but I was there on a Sunday and I swear I thought I was in a Kindergarten. LOL So I'd suggest you either get there early or have a high tolerance for small children.
