Monte Rosa - Erndtgasse 7

Nice place and very good Italian food, TOP!!!!

We entered at 6.20 PM. You, dear Monte Rosa team, had warned us that the table was available until 7.30 only. Thus, we ordered one dish each, nothing more. Food finally arrived at 7.20 (and we had to order our drinks again as they had been forgotten). 8 minutes later your waiter appears and talks to the guests next to us: "They just started eating and they have 1 minute and 30 seconds left.". Then he turns around and tells us "you knew from the beginning that this table was available until 7.30 only." This was extremely embarrassing not only for us but also for the other guest who were indeed waiting for our table for the second part of our group. Following that, you brought the bill, took away our plates and basically kicked us out - only to tell us that another table was free until 8.30. We finished our drinks there, you offered an apologetic grappa / limoncello on the house and off we went. EXTREMELY unprofessional and unfriendly handling of a standard situation. We totally would have understood if you had moved us to that other table in peaceful terms. Food was pricey but ok, decent home delivery quality I'd say. Maybe you should focus on that field in future, dear Monte Rosa. Less professionalism and friendliness required. Good night and good luck.

The place is cosy, but they should separate better the nonsmoking and the smoking rooms. The pizza was just average (I have tried a classical ruccola-prosciutto), the pizza bred is dry and too thin, 6/10 at me. The tiramisu was really good, 9/10. The waiters are nice. Summary, not bad at all, but for this price could be better.

they delivered a cold pizza after they insured my brother in person at the door at their restaurant that the pizza is on its way. 15 Minutes later the pizza came cold without any warming box or so. 14 , 5 Euros for a cold pizza. Not that pleasing!

Interesting combinations like sardinian pasta (kugels) with hummus leeks and cherry tomatoes... pizza’s not overflowing w tomato sauce which is a plus; staff recommended a nice white wine w out food... totally recommend plus u can sit outside even in cold weather( heaters available)

Great Italian cuisine with specialities from Sardinia. The service is really nice and food tastes amazing. I recommend to sit outside since they have a really cute garden ?
