H	Heide Knoll on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ganz schön steil aber das noch lange geht's zum Mausoleum. Die Aussicht ist sehr schön u die kurze Wanderung zahlt sich aus Pretty steep but that's a long way to the mausoleum. The view is very beautiful and the short hike pays off

Jedoch vergehen sich immer wieder manch Jugendliche mit biversem Ritzwerkzeug daran!!!! Bei klarem Wetter ein wunderschöner Ausblick über ehrenhausen!!! Das einzige was negativ zu bewerten ist sind die beiden betreten verboten Schilder die ich nicht ganz verstehe da im Ort ja angebriesen ist Besichtigungen buchen zu können und und und!!!! Also spazieren gehen neben einem Schloss nur mehr gestattet wenn man bezahlt oder wie??? Naja hab mich nicht abschrecken lassen und bin den kurzen aber schönen weg entlang gegangen und habe wunderschöne Aufnahmen machen können!!! Also alles in allem wirklich sehenswert ? Very nice location well worth seeing the mausoleum and the castle are very well preserved and worth to be admired! However, time and again, some young people commit themselves to it with bisexual scratching tools !!!! In clear weather a wonderful view over Ehrenhausen !!! The only thing that can be rated negatively are the two forbidden to enter signs which I don't quite understand because in the place it is advertised to be able to book visits and and and !! So walking next to a castle is only allowed if you pay or how ??? Well, I didn't let that put me off and walked the short but beautiful path along and took wonderful pictures! So all in all really worth seeing ?

Umso wichtiger ist es, durch solche Bauwerke die Erinnerung an die moslemische Bedrohung und den erfolgreichen Widerstand aufrecht zu erhalten. Today's politics may not like to remember the Turkish wars. About the reasons may be speculated. P	Paul H. Brunner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein kleiner Abstecher von der Ortsmitte zum etwas höher gelegenen Mausoleum lohnt sich. Allerdings ist es derzeit innen nicht zu besichtigen wegen Renovationsarbeiten. A short detour from the center of the village to the slightly higher mausoleum is worthwhile. However, it is currently not open to the public due to renovation work.

Hier liegt Ruprecht von Eggenberg (1546-1611) begraben, der sich im Langen Türkenkrieg (1693-1606) militärische Verdienste erworben hatte und den Ruhm der Eggenberger begründete. Sein Neffe ist ebenfalls hier beigesetzt, das Mausoleum wurde 1693 nach langer Bauunterbrechung fertig gestellt. A strange building that overshadows the small town of Ehrenhausen. Here lies Ruprecht von Eggenberg (1546-1611), who had acquired military merit in the Long Turkish War (1693-1606) and founded the glory of Eggenberger. His nephew is also buried here, the mausoleum was completed in 1693 after a long break in construction.
