A	Anika o on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wunderschöner Ort! Im Sommer sehr verwachsen, aber auch in Frühling und Herbst eine kleine Wanderung wert. Beautiful place! Very overgrown in summer, but also worth a short hike in spring and autumn.

E	Eis Bär on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr schöne zweiteilige Ruine. Man kann bis Am Schloßberg in Wildon zufahren und von dort aus zu Fuß dem Fahrverbot und der Forststrasse folgen. So kann man die Burg gar nicht verfehlen. Leider ist das betreten des Geländes wegen Einsturzgefahr und archäologischen Arbeiten verboten. Very nice two-part ruin. You can drive to Am Schlossberg in Wildon and from there on foot follow the driving ban and the forest road. So you can not miss the castle. K	Kurt-el ShrinkHead (Kurt-el) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein absolut traumhafter Platz für einen entspannenden Spaziergang, mit herrlichem Rundblick vom Burgberg. Seit einigen Jahren lebt auf dem Gelände eine kleine Herde von Gemsen, etwas ungewöhnlich, wenn man daran denkt, dass diese eigentlich Gebirgsbewohner sind. Die Höhle und der Platz unterhalb der Ruine waren schon zur Zeit der Römer als Steinbruch für Muschel- Kalkstein begehrt, wie auch der Römersteinbruch Aflenz bei Wagna. Von der Burg selbst sind nur wenige Mauerreste übrig, der zu einem guten Teil erhaltene Turm, wo sich auch ein Innenhof und der Brunnen befinden, lassen erahnen, wie groß die Burg ursprünglich einmal war. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch und Spaziergang wert, sehr zu empfehlen...! Noch ein Tipp: wenn man bei der Höhle herumliegende Steinbrocken untersucht, ist nicht ausgeschlossen, dass man mit etwas Glück ein Fossil entdeckt, einen kleinen Hammer mitzubringen, erleichtert die Suche... ☺ An absolutely fantastic place for a relaxing walk, with a wonderful panoramic view from the castle hill. For a few years now, a small herd of chamois has been living on the site, somewhat unusual when you think that they are actually mountain dwellers. The cave and the place below the ruin were already in demand as a quarry for shell limestone in Roman times, as was the Aflenz Roman quarry near Wagna. Only a few remains of the wall are left of the castle itself. The largely preserved tower, where there is also an inner courtyard and the fountain, give an idea of how large the castle was originally. Definitely worth a visit and a walk, highly recommended ...! Another tip: if you examine boulders lying around in the cave, it is not out of the question that with a little luck you will discover a fossil, bringing a small hammer with you will make the search easier ... ☺
F	Felix Steinwender on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recht schöne Ruine, allerdings ist nicht mehr viel erhalten. Laut Beschilderung darf man das Gelände wegen Einsturzgefahr nicht betreten. Bei zu viel Wind bzw. generell Schlechtwetter würde ich davon Absehen rauf zu gehen, da auch sehr viele schlecht verwurzelte Bäume am Weg sind. Quite a beautiful ruin, but not much has survived. According to the signs, you are not allowed to enter the site due to the risk of collapse. If there is too much wind or generally bad weather, I would refrain from going up, as there are also a lot of badly rooted trees on the way.
E	Erich Schattauer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schönes Ausflugsziel, leicht erreichbar mit Zug oder Fahrrad. Nach einem kurzen Fußmarsch erreicht man die Burgruine. Wie es die Bezeichnung „Ruine“ schon zum Ausdruck bringt, ist von der einst wehrhaften Burg leider nicht mehr viel übrig. Dennoch sehenswert. Nice destination, easily accessible by train or bike. After a short walk you reach the castle ruins. As the name "ruin" suggests, there is unfortunately not much left of the once fortified castle. Still worth seeing.
