Ich hoffe, dass diese Bewertung zumindest beitragen kann, um in Zukunft eine Verbesserung dieses geschichtsträchtigen Ortes zu bringen. Wir waren heute am Vormittag bei Flavia Solva. Wir haben uns ehrlich gesagt nicht so viel von diesem Sonntagsausflug erwartet aber das was wir heute erlebt haben ist wirklich eine Schande für diesen vormals größten Ort der Steiermark (lt. Vorort-Beschilderung). Es ist sehr wenig ausgegraben (die Fläche würde jedoch augenscheinlich weitaus mehr Ausgrabungen bieten), innerhalb der überdachten römischen Fußbodenheizung liegt Müll herum, das ganze Areal ist mit Unkraut verseht, die Ausstellungsfenster wurden liebevoll mit Ikea Gläsern als Stützen dekoriert, innerhalb der Räume einiger Ausstelungsobjekte finden sich tote Fliegen, auf dem freien Geländer ist so gut wie nichts beschriftet... das waren nur einige, wenige Eindrücke. Es ist wirklich traurig, was Wagna bzw. das Universalmuseum Joanneum mit diesem Ort gemacht hat. Es wäre soviel Potenzial vorhanden! Andere Orte können das ohne Zweifel WEITAUS besser: bspw. Carnuntum & Frauenberg. Fazit: Ein sehr traurig anmutendes Erlebnis. One thing ahead: The following evaluation should serve as a personally perceived snapshot (06.2020). I hope that this review can at least help to improve this historic place in the future. We were with Flavia Solva this morning. We honestly didn't expect so much from this Sunday excursion, but what we experienced today is really a shame for what was once the largest place in Styria (according to local signs). There is very little excavated (the area would obviously offer a lot more excavations), there is rubbish inside the covered Roman underfloor heating, the whole area is weeded, the exhibition windows have been lovingly decorated with Ikea glasses as supports, inside the rooms of some exhibits there are dead flies, there is practically nothing on the free railing ... these were just a few impressions. It is really sad what Wagna or the Universalmuseum Joanneum did with this place. There would be so much potential! There is no doubt that WEITAUS can do other places better: e.g. Carnuntum & Frauenberg. Conclusion: A very sad experience.

They wanted to do something cool, and a little bit went wrong. A place with potential, but only for very short viewing.
