Aber tolle aussicht auf dürnstein (dort entlang der donau haben die blüten überlebt). Very nice hiking trail past various orchards. Unfortunately, almost all of the flowers died from the previous frost. But a great view of dürnstein (the flowers have survived there along the danube).

Мальовничі пейзажі, багато selfi station, є можливість продегустувати крафтові вироби з місцевих абрикосів під час того як насолоджуєшся неймовірними видами! Very nice place. Picturesque landscapes, many selfi stations, there is an opportunity to taste craft products from local apricots while enjoying incredible views!
B	Brigitte Nadvornik on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jedes Jahr ein Erlebnis! Zur Marillenblüte besonders am Wochenende noch dazu wenn gleichzeitig Ostern und schönes Wetter ist sehr voll. Highlight heuer die Marillenknödel to go vom Gasthof Aufreither! Es gibt einen kleinen Parkplatz gegenüber Gasthof-Hotel Aufreither. Vorsicht beim Parken an der Straße. Polizei zeigt Falschparker am Straßenrand an. Es gibt auch anschließend an den Marillenweg einen Wanderweg zum Stift Göttweig. Die Beschilderung endet, wenn der Weg aus dem Wald führt und man muss die Bundesstraße auf einer großen Kreuzung ohne Zebrastreifen queren. Danach an der Straße, die zum Stift führt, am Bankett bergauf gehen. Danach kann man links in den Wald einen Wanderweg nehmen, paralell gibt es auch einen Weg für Mountainbiker. Für den Weg hin und retour am selben Weg über die Marillen- und Weingärten nach Angern braucht man ca. 4 Stunden. An experience every year! During the apricot blossom, especially on weekends, when Easter and nice weather are very full at the same time. The highlight this year is the apricot dumplings to go from Gasthof Aufreither! There is a small car park opposite the Gasthof-Hotel Aufreither. Be careful when parking on the street. Police report illegal parking at the roadside. There is also a hiking trail to Göttweig Abbey after the Apricot Trail. The signage ends when the path leads out of the forest and you have to cross the main road at a large intersection without a zebra crossing. Then go uphill at the shoulder of the road that leads to the monastery. Then you can take a hiking trail to the left into the forest, there is also a parallel path for mountain bikers. The way there and back on the same route over the apricot and vineyards to Angern takes about 4 hours.
T	Thomas Partel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Am heutigen Ostersonntag hat das Wetter gepasst und die Blüte ist schon sehr weit. Schöner Weg durch die Weinberge mit Blick auf Stift Göttweig und die Donau. Tolle Fotomotive. Am Ausgangspunkt gibts eine Überblickstafel inkl Folder über den Weg, es ist aber immer gut beschildert Wer keinen Proviant mithat, kann alles für das Picknick „to go“ mitnehmen. Eine sehr schöne Attraktion, jederzeit einen Ausflug wert. Today, Easter Sunday, the weather was perfect and flowering is already very far. W	Wolfgang Bruckner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leider herrschte zum Zeitpunkt unseres Besuches am 28.03.2022 immer noch die seit Wochen andauernde große Trockenheit und so bot sich am gesamten Wanderweg eher das Bild einer Steppenlandschaft und auch von der Blütenpracht, die auf so manchen Bildern zu sehen ist, blieb nicht allzuviel übrig. Der Weg, der zum größten Teil durch Weingärten führt, ist sehr gut beschildert und bietet am höchsten Punkt einen guten Rundumblick auf Stift Göttweig oder auch auf Krems und die Donau. Leider gibt es viel zu wenige Sitzgelegenheiten und auch einen Toilettengang sollte man nicht "einplanen", da es am gesamten Wanderweg keine Möglichkeit dazu gibt. Das einzige Gasthaus war wegen Krankheit geschlossen. Kleiner Tipp für Autofahrer: Am Ortsende von Angern Richtung Krems gibt es vor einer Linkskurve eine kleine Straße scharf nach rechts, auf der man zu einem Fußballplatz kommt auf dem man lt. Auskunft vom Gasthof legal parken kann. Von dort aus sind es knapp 5 Minuten bis zum Beginn des Wanderweges. Werden wahrscheinlich noch einmal wiederkommen, wenn die Marillen reif sind, das Wetter mitspielt und die Landschaft dann hoffentlich richtig grün ist. Unfortunately, at the time of our visit on March 28th, 2022, it was always nor the severe drought that has lasted for weeks and so the entire hiking trail was more like a steppe landscape and not too much was left of the blossoming that can be seen on so many pictures. The path, which mostly leads through vineyards, is very well signposted and at the highest point offers a good all-round view of Göttweig Abbey or of Krems and the Danube. Unfortunately, there are far too few places to sit and you should not "plan" to go to the toilet, as there is no possibility to do so on the entire hiking trail. The only inn was closed due to illness. A little tip for drivers: At the end of Angern in the direction of Krems, there is a small road sharp to the right before a left-hand bend, which takes you to a soccer field where, according to the information from the inn, you can park legally. From there it is just under 5 minutes to the start of the hiking trail. Will probably come back again when the apricots are ripe, the weather cooperates and hopefully the landscape is really green.
