Gegenüber ist die Stopfenreuther Au.
A beautiful place on the edge of the spa park, right on the beautiful blue Danube.
Opposite is the Stopfenreuther Au.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Je to nádherné místo odkud je vidět Dunaj. Parking hned u vody, nebo pár minut chůze přes park v lázeňském městečku Bad Deutsch Altenburg. Místo má lavičky a krásný trávník. Je vhodné na odpočinek, sledování lodí, dá se i zaplavat v Dunaji pokud není velký proud.
Směrem vlevo proti proudu je hezká procházka podél řeky směrem k Vídni. Na ni se dá rovněž sejít k vodě. Vlevo od parkingu je asi 100 metrů daleko betonová kostka vodárny, na níž je umístěn malý památník policistům a námořníkům kteří se utopili při službě na řece... Za ní podél vody přeskočit potok a jděte směrem k Vídni. Je tam hned rybník s chráněnými živočichy.
Místo bývá občas i vytopeno při záplavách ( i park až po příjezd).
Krása hlavně na jaře anebo při západu slunce.
It is a wonderful place to see the Danube. Parking by the water or a few minutes walk through the park in the spa town of Bad Deutsch Altenburg. The place has benches and a beautiful lawn. It is suitable for rest, watching boats, you can even swim in the Danube if there is not a large current.
To the left upstream is a nice walk along the river towards Vienna. You can also go to the water. To the left of the parking lot is about 100 meters away the concrete cube of the waterworks, which houses a small memorial to police officers and sailors who drowned during service on the river ... Follow the stream along the water and walk towards Vienna. There is a pond with protected animals.
The place is sometimes heated during floods (even the park until arrival).
Beauty mainly in spring or at sunset.
