★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a wonderful place on river Danube's enbankment. Quiet, melanch o ic in winter. Alive, relaxed during the summer. A little "kurzentrum", very cosy: not too many people, a lot of space. And an added value: very interesting Museum Carnuntinum presenting the rich roman settlement.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Kurpark is a great place for a walk, with shady trees and many replicas of Roman altars and commemoration stones with translations of the inscriptions.
Beware: come equipped with anti-mosquito lotion, particularly in Summer.
