Für normal arbeitende Menschen einfach unpassend. 2. laut Homepage bekommt man am Bezirksamt einen Staatsbürgerschaftsnachweis. Vor Ort erklärt mit die Dame am Schalter dann, dass es den nur am Standesamt gibt. 1. Opening hours of the offices I generally find a disaster! For normal working people simply inappropriate. 2. According to the homepage you get a certificate of citizenship at the district office. Explained on site with the lady at the counter then that there are only at the registry office.
a	astrid_aus_wien on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ passerneuerung und personalausweis wurden von einem sehr netten und zuvorkommenden mitarbeiter abgewickelt. auch sonst wurde ich ausgesprochen freundlich behandelt. einzig die umgangsformen des jungen kassiers, bei dem ich die gebühren bezahlte, erinnerten an jene, wie sie früher auf ämtern herrschten: kein gruß, keine mimik, keine antworten, kein bitte, danke,... fehlende basics, wie man sie sogar schon kindern beibringt. Passport renewal and ID were handled by a very nice and courteous employee. otherwise I was treated very kindly. only the manners of the young cashier, with whom I paid the fees, were reminiscent of the way they used to rule in offices: no greeting, no facial expressions, no answers, no please, thank you, ... missing basics, as you already know teaches children.

Per E-Mail hat man mir sehr rasch geantwortet und man hat mir bei meinem Anliegen weitergeholfen! Waiting times are to be expected, but the staff are very friendly and courteous. They answered me very quickly via e-mail and they helped me with my request!

I live in the 1st district because it is supposed to be "international" but if you try to phone no-one will speak English and if you try to speak German they will simply say they don't understand and hang-up the phone. If this is as good as it gets in Vienna then it's hopeless. A truly awful experience.
