★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Almwelt Lofer ist ein kleines Skigebiet an der Deutsch-Österreichischen Grenze, das für Familien mit kleinen Kindern recht gut geeignet ist. Für die, die es ein bisschen schneller angehen, ist das Skigebiet allerdings nicht allzu interessant. Innerhalb von zirka eineinhalb Stunden hat man alle Lifte abgefahren. Die Pisten sind teilweise recht schmal und die 7 Kilometer lange Talabfahrt besteht zum Großteil aus Ziehwegen.
 The Almwelt Lofer is a small ski area on the German-Austrian border that is quite suitable for families with small children. However, for those who want to go a bit faster, the ski area is not very interesting. Within about one and a half hours you have driven down all the lifts. Some of the pistes are quite narrow and the 7-kilometre-long valley descent consists largely of pull-out trails.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tolles Gebiet zum Skifahren und wandern. Es gibt so einiges zu entdecken. Das Skigebiet ist etwas kleiner aber tolle Abfahrten und Liftanlagen. Gerne wieder ??
Great area for skiing and hiking. There is so much to discover. The ski area is a bit smaller but great slopes and lifts. Gladly again ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We walked through the Loferer Alm in summer. We really loved this route. We walked about 6 km between the cows. There was a place to buy fresh milk and cheese. We would really recommend to visit this area. Good walking shoes are needed :-).
