★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Sperrbogen, heute der erste von insgesamt drei, wurde 1642 im Zuge der dritten Stadtbefestigung unter Fürsterzbischof Paris Graf Lodron errichtet. Er erhebt sich über der Festungsgasse in deren oberen Teil nahe der Michael-Haydn-Stiege unmittelbar vor der Abzweigung des Zugangs zur Festung.
 The barrier arch, today the first of a total of three, was built in 1642 as part of the third city fortification under Prince Archbishop Paris Count Lodron. It rises above the Festungsgasse in its upper part near the Michael-Haydn-Stiege, immediately before the junction of the entrance to the fortress.
