★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel Lindwurm was a homey place to rest our heads our first night in Austria. Rooms were clean, hotel was in the Austrian tradition and hotel staff was very friendly and helpful in suggesting a dinner spot. I would stay again and recommend to friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spent New Year 2018 there. The hotel charged my card 70 € more than was agreed. My complaint has been ignored for 2 months. Ladies at reception speak German only. My bank is involved in this complaint now. I do not recommend this hotel to anybody.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff didn't talk properly English. The furniture/decoration is very outdated, looks like a James Bond movie from the 70's.
The frontoffice didn't gave us any information about the area.
Breakfast was a standard breakfast buffet but tasted good.
The view was definitely a plus.
Keeping the price in mind (€99 per night) it is definitely not worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed with this hotel. The room and hotel itself was nice and clean. But we picked this hotel especially because of the spa it offers. Yet when we arrived we've been told that the spa is in reconstruction, without any notice on websites or whatsoever. Well I went to check the spa personally and there was no reconstruction undergoing. There were even bath robes and towels ready for guests. Quite frankly I think because of a low number of guests the stuff was just too lazy to turn the sauna whirlpool and heated pool on. Otherwise nice food and hotel. But as I said, very disappointed from the spa and the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spent 1 night in this hotel. We arrived quite early but the staff was very nice and let us check in early. The room is big and supper cozy with a beautiful mountain view. There is a bus right in front the hotel to Hallstatt village, its much cheaper to stay here compared to hotels in hallstatt, you can also enjoyed the wonderful surrounding scenery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms were clean and comfortable. Just outside our room balcony, we had a spectacular mountain view. Breakfast was decent and the staff were very helpful.
We could rent ebike for a day just beside the hotel and the train stop is about 10 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very kind and helpful staff of hotel. Amazing breakfast and dinner. I think it's one of the best hotels which I've ever been in Austria. But there's one problem: it wasn't enough light in our room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms are outdated and owners seems nit to care: shower handle broken, TV not working, WiFi very weak, shower cabin and bathroom feels 30 years old (as does the matress) and therefore nott really clean feeling.
Bed linen was good quality and new.
Brekfast: same.... coffee was terrible.
Just cheap stuff.
Just not looked after with care and love.
Would definitely choose another hotel next time.
