Er wurde in der Gegenreformation immens reich, weil er sich in großem Umfang Güter der vertriebenen evangelischen Adeligen in OÖ und NÖ aneignete. Als er kurz nach der Fertigstellung seines Prunkschlosses starb, ließ seine einzige Tochter den Protzbau abreißen und baute daraus ein Frauenkloster, das unter Joseph II. aufgelassen wurde. So gerecht ist manchmal der Lauf der Welt! That was around 1650 the fountain in the castle of the Count in Windhag in the Mühlviertel. He became immensely rich in the Counter-Reformation because he appropriated goods of the displaced Protestant nobles in Upper Austria and Lower Austria on a large scale. When he died shortly after the completion of his magnificent palace, his only daughter demolished the protests and built a convent, which was abandoned under Joseph II. Nach dem Umbau und Erneuerung soll der Platz im neuem Glanz erstrahlen, und ein Ort der Begegnung, Erholung, zum verweilen, ein Ort zum gemeinsamen feiern und auch der neue Martplatz werden. Bin schon gespannt wie es wird. Unfortunately a construction site at the moment, new because of the town square. After the renovation and renewal, the square should shine in new splendor, and become a place of encounter, relaxation, to linger, a place to celebrate together and also become the new Martplatz. I'm curious how it will be.
h	hoang tran on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rất tiếc ngày tôi đến đây là chủ nhật nên các cửa hàng đều đóng cửa và khá vắng khách du lịch đến đây nhưng bù lại tôi lại có những bức ảnh đầy đủ nhất về khu phố này( không bị che khuất bởi người đi qua lại). So beautyful place should be come ! Unfortunately the day I came here was Sunday so the shops were closed and there were quite a few tourists coming here, but in return I had the most complete photos of this neighborhood (not hidden by people walking back and forth) ).
