★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir besuchen seit 4 Jahren das Hoamatl jeden Sommer mehrfach während unseres Urlaubs .
Wir lieben das tolle Essen, die herzigen Gastgeber und die tolle Aussicht auf der Terrasse.
Ob Gröstl, Schweinebraten, Lamm, Leber,-oder Speckknödel- hier kommt jeder in den Genuss von grossartigem Essen. Ein Stück hausgemachter Kuchen ist der krönende Abschluss ?Einfach immer wieder einen Besuch wert
 We have been visiting the Hoamatl several times during our vacation every summer for the past 4 years.
We love the great food, the kind hosts and the great view on the terrace.
Whether Gröstl, roast pork, lamb, liver or bacon dumplings - everyone can enjoy great food here. A piece of homemade cake is the crowning glory ? Always worth a visit

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed here in August 2019 and stumbled upon this hidden gem in Umhausen! This completely rebuild Hotel/Gasthaus has a very fresh interior with upgraded bathrooms and even an infrared cabin in the rooms. Very comfy beds, nice staff, dinner and breakfast choices, parking outside, would definitely stay here again. Make sure you realise this is on top of a steep slope and although booking says it's ony 2.1km from the center of umhausen, its actually a 10-15 minute drive down the mountain. It's walkable but that would be 2h+

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I usually don't like Germanic food but this one was awesome. Great saurkraut, great wurst, awesome potatoes. Very affordable prices. And about 20 minutes walk from huge gorgeous waterfall. If you're hiking up the falls go a bit further for the restaurant here or a stay for the night.
