★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful old Gasthof with a mountain view! Our host, a young man named Michael, will not be forgotten. Friendly, accommodating, and genuine. Food and service were excellent, lovely country setting, and minutes from Historic Innsbruck. Loved it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Staff -the family was excellent! Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Location - as if you are in some fairy tale - green, fresh air, lots of hiking opportunities. Overall, perfect stay! You can even spot a deer grazing in the field, check the photo.. Negative: Nothing. It was bit cold in the room for a person coming from South :) . But, pack warm and you will be fine..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: I stayed here with my partner on the recommendation of my Mum, who stayed here as a teenager nearly 60 years ago! The hotel is still owned and run by the same lovely family. It really is a very special, unique and authentic hotel. A rare find these days. The most special thing about the hotel is the fact that it is situated in a field surrounded by woods and with only a nearby farm for neighbours. You can walk through the woods or enjoy the beer garden in a relaxed and beautiful setting. - often with lovely sunsets or gorgeous misty mornings! The food was also good and the staff were exceptional! I hope to have the opportunity to stay here again one day. Regarding the area, we really enjoyed some nearby hikes. Staff can recommend routes. On our final morning we went to see professional ski jumpers practice at the nearby ski jump. Very cool! Fun mountain roads if you like driving, too, and a sweet nearby village called Mutters..
