Fantastic owner! Rooms are a little to small but ok. They clean your room everyday.

Yeah, Ok, Its like this place was built in the 70's complete with owner who also just stepped out of a 70's porno, but as basic as it is, Could not fault customer service! The breakfast consisted of warm cornflakes, warm milk and a bowl of vomit coloured yogurt, If hard boiled eggs are your thing, then why not dig in to the 600 eggs in the bowl?

Just come back from a week here at the Hotel Landhaus Roscher via Crystal Ski. (28 Jan- 04 Feb 2017) Sadly I don’t think this is a hotel at all and definitely not a 3* Hotel as sold to us by Crystal Ski. In fact I can only be class it as no more than a Guesthouse and not anything more than 2* at that. My main reason for this is not only what I witnessed with the regards to the decor and service, but the fact that the manager during our stay constantly stated that “This is only a B&B and nothing else!” Hence why I’ve said it's a Guesthouse at best, but think more B&B…. Our room consisted of two separate bedrooms, each with two single beds and an on-suite to both, plus a very small seating area with hob and fridge as you came in from the reception area. This was said to be a Family room and suited the three of us lads perfectly. Sadly I personally wouldn’t like my family to stay in this room due to it desperately needing an upgrade and here are some of the dangerous faults I found in the “Family Room” alone: 1) Blown and burnt out electric socket 2) Cracked mains sockets by headboard 3) Open contacts on lights within bed area 4) Bare bulbs in same bed area 5) Cracked light switch 6) Obscure red stains on upholstery 7) Broken and fragmented light fitting in main seating area 8) Live cables in second bathroom Some other guests had issues with their rooms to, ranging from: 1) Blooded pillows 2) Electrical wires next to clothes hooks 3) Missing lights 4) Mouldy shower area For all of the above I will post photos of highlighting the issues and you can see for yourselves the condition of the guesthouse and the urgent repairs needed. The breakfast is exactly as quoted in some of the other reviews. Stale rolls (of which can be found outside most nights if you return back after 10pm – an ideal snack after après for you and the local wildlife…) some breads, three types of cereal, a large bowl of yogurt, a selection of spreads – jam’s etc and to drink you have the choice between Orange juice, Milk and Water for your shot glass sized juice glasses. There is no toaster for you to use however we did find out by chance that if you ask for toast they will take some bread and take it out back to toast for you. None of this was explained to us at any point during our stay and I feel should have been. Coffee you also have to ask for and there is no tea unless you buy your own tea bags and ask for some hot water. We were half board and had our evening meals at the Gasthof Waldcafe about a short 10 minute walk down the hill from the Landhaus Roscher. The restaurant was run by Martin and his staff which we really can’t falter, they were great hosts and the food we got was ok, it wasn’t fantastic and it resembled nothing like what the other ‘paying guests’ were getting but this was due to us having a set menu which consisted of the same routine every night: You will be given whatever soup they want to serve as a starter, followed by either a meat or vegetarian dish for your main and then a desert of their choice. Our mains throughout the week were either a beef or pork dish alternating and the only two vegetarian dishes I saw were both pasta dishes. So if you don’t like beef, pork or pasta I wouldn’t go half board and give yourself the option to try some of the other food on their menu that looked a lot better than what we were being served. The WiFi in the restaurant is free and much better than it is back at the Landhaus which seemed to be limited to the reception area.

We stayed here over the week of Snowbombing and couldn’t want for anything more. One bed creaked so they immediately changed it, mattress was a little thing - Gunther jumped into action and created a bed for for a princess! Breakfast is well worth getting up for (if you’re able to do so - we weren’t always fit enough). Our room was all you needed and beds were comfy. You don’t go skiing for the hotel.... usually - it’s the mountains you come for or the parties in our case but the room we had was great and the staff couldn’t do enough. Location is up a very slight hill but you're super close to the main lift and in the heart of winter I assume you could ski down.

Friendly staff, very helpful and service minded! Nothing to argue there. Rooms are as you pay for, regular Austrian style with big wooden panels all over the place. Breakfast however was under average, in one week, we didn't get to try cold milk or juice. Only very hardboiled Eggs and a very low virarity of meats.

Very clean but needs updating. Great Location was great for us away from the noise but in easy walking distance to main lift, Penken. Breakfast very basic but you get what you pay for. Plenty of bread, eggs, cold meat, cereal and youghurt, a typical continental breakfast Good value for money. Gunter very friendly and helpful fellow.

Best apartment I've had in a long time while going snowboarding. The man who owns the place is super friendly and very kind. We arrived around 9 in the morning and we could go into our apartment immediately! That's not very common. Breakfast was included and was okay. We had a nice big room with a large balcony. I would recommend going here because of the great service. 5/5
