★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an excellent week's stay at the Waldcafe, booked through Sunweb. The room was exactly what we needed and the buffet breakfasts filled us up for each day of snowboarding. Dinners were fantastic, three delicious courses, plus salad - I'd happily eat at the restaurant even if I wasn't a guest, there's a very good menu on offer. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks Michael and team for a great week!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were a company of 15 people who had a great time in Mayrhofen and one of the main reasons was the welcoming hospitality at Gasthof Waldcafe. The professional staff did everything perfect to make us feel like home.
The rooms was tidy and cosy with comfortable beds. We woke up every morning to a beautiful view of the sunrise (photo taken from our hotel window). The food in the evening was a three course meal with great taste and they always made sure to ask if there was any allergies in the company. It was a very close walk to the town and lift to the ski area from the hotel.
We will definitely be back! Thank you, Michael!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found this place on Google, they gave us a table although we had no reservation. Typical Austrian friendly atmosphere and young and friendly staff. We dah Wuenersnitzel and house dish with two kind of meat, both very good.
The piece the resistance was the salted caramel ice dessert, with all home made incredients, absolutely heaven...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you enter this restaurant you find yourself in a truly authentic Austrian setting. The staff is very polite and helpful. Even if you don't understand German of English they will do everything they can to explain the dishes on the menu. The food is rich and the portions are ample. The prices are very competitive and we are definitely very satisfied regular customers. Every time we are in Mayrhofen, we go to eat there at least once.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice and cozy atmosphere, walking distance to the ski lift and the centre of the town. The owner really went above and beyond with all our requests about the food and to make our stay perfect! Highly recommended staying here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you visit Mayrhofen, ensure you visit here; the food is excellent and service is impeccable. The young staff are friendly and attentive and the venue is lovely. We visited several times during our week skiing, and were really pleased we did every time. Make sure you try the desserts and especially the pastries ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my partner stayed here for a week during the ski season. Absolutely loved everything about our hotel! Staff were warm and welcoming and nothing was too much. The food was fantastic, we were half board and thoroughly enjoyed every meal! The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and spacious. Also the beds were super comfortable!
Highly recommend this little gem ?.
