After the gentleman insulted the craftsmanship of a beautiful one of a kind sentimental piece when I dropped it off, I'm not impressed with the craftsmanship of the repair. They shortened the setting so now light can't hit the sapphire in the same way... And left a small rough edge which will probably catch on all fabrics. I didn't mind the sass, but if you're going to be sassy with your clients at least show them the craftsmanship to back up the hubris.

When I asked when his shop closed he said right now. I thanked him for his time and he abruptly said “bye.” I will be taking my money elsewhere. You’d think that as a rock collector you would find joy sharing your passion with another collector, this was not him.
