Im Mittelpunkt des Orts Preinsfeld steht die Kapelle "zur Schmerzhafte Muttergottes". Sie geht auf einen 1713 von der Familie Supper errichteten Bildstock zurück - aus Dank dafür, daß Preinsfeld von Pest und Cholera verschont geblieben ist. Eine spätere Kapelle aus Holz wurde 1933 zu Ehren des Viehpatrons St. Leonhard durch eine gemauerte Kapelle ersetzt
Dear little church by the wayside.
In the center of the village of Preinsfeld is the chapel "Our Lady of Sorrows". It goes back to a wayside shrine built by the Supper family in 1713 - out of thanks that Preinsfeld was spared the plague and cholera. A later wooden chapel was replaced by a brick chapel in 1933 in honor of the cattle patron St. Leonhard
