Herrliche, ruhige, wunderschöne Wienerwaldumgebung. Genussvolles, unangestrengtes Pensionisten Wandern, wie es uns gefällt, möglich. Es zahlt sich aus, diesen Ort zu besuchen. Impressive medieval monastery complex. Interesting structure of buildings built in different eras. Wonderful, quiet, beautiful surroundings of the Vienna Woods. Enjoyable, effortless retirees hiking, as we like it, possible. It pays to visit this place.

Sehr zu empfehlen ist der ein Mal jährlich stattfindende Tag des Denkmals bzw. der Tag der offenen Kartause wo einerseits die Anlage besichtigt werden kann und andrerseits einem das Arbeiten mit den verschiedensten Materialien nähergebracht wird. Die Herstellung und Restaurierung von Elementen aus Holz, Lehm, Ton und Stein können bestaunt bzw. selbst probiert werden. Außerdem erfährt man über die Geschichte der Kartäusermönche sowie die Nutzung der Klosteranlage im Laufe der Geschichte. Ein Highlight ist auch der lange Kreuzgang und die Wandermöglichkeiten im Umfeld des Klosters.
