The climb here is definitely worth it. Here you have a wonderful view of nearby Vienna, Purkersdorf and the Vienna Woods.

Wir waren heute mit Kinderwagen unterwegs den wir das nächste mal bestimmt zuhause lassen werden , aber mal am Ziel angekommen ist alles anstrengende und der Matsch vergessen. Es zahlt sich absolut aus ! Wow! Just wow! Today we were traveling with a stroller that we will definitely leave at home the next time, but once we arrive at our destination, everything is exhausting and the mud is forgotten. It absolutely pays off!

Sie kann in etwa einer Stunde mit nicht zu steilem Anstieg erwandert werden und ist damit auch für Familien mit Kindern geeignet. The Rudolfswarte, located in the Buchenwald on the 475m high Rudolfshöhe between Vienna and Purkersdorf, offers a unique view of Vienna, Mauerbach, Purkersdorf, Gablitz, Neupurkersdorf and the Lainzer Tiergarten. It can be hiked in about an hour with the ascent not being too steep and is therefore also suitable for families with children.
