★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As I sat here in the early evenings of a summer day, I was struck by how peaceful the place was. Not as many people as I thought, but still enough. Couples by the pond as the Karlskirche's reflection danced over the waters. Cyclists whizzing by locals out for an evening run. I was almost tempted to rent a bike to do the same but there wasn't one in sight.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful church close to the centre of the city. The green dome shines from a distance. A little unclean surrounding but beautiful overall experience. Take a day pass and travel to this church from Vienna hbf. You can also visit on the way back from palace.
