There's really nice view from that place, but that's all. We came there at the reception asking for shared rooms which were not available. Then I asked if I could use my member card to have a discount for a room-not possible.( Btw I used this card succesfuly for a cabine lift). So we had to pay 92euro for both per night ..which was a lot as hell but OK I said. The room was simple with no courtains or blinds in the window. There was a wardrobe, but locked. There was no trash bin in the room and no key from the entrance door. Showers were paid and time limited, maybe we had a shower included in the price, but nobody gave us instructions. After all in the morning while checking out the girl at the reception asked us to give her some card back..but nobody gave us such card..maybe it was a chip card for shower machine..who knows..nobody gave us an explanation. I have never met such a service for such a price!! Next day I asked for a night at the Habsburg house where I could use my member card with no problem..the night was for 18euro/person. Maybe we just had a bad day but I can not recomend KLH to anyone after this experience.

A great place to stay the night. The food is also delicious. The landscape is breathtaking.

We went there and ask to refill our water bottle. They refuse. EDIT: We were there yesterday. When we asked the waiter to refill our water bottle she said she is too busy and only suggested us to buy plastic bottled water. We told her that we don't want to use plastic (otherwise what is the purpose of buying refillable water bottle?) and she said it's the only solution she can offer. It looked to me that you just don't want to give us free water in order to sell bottled water.

Nice place almost on the top of the mountain. A restaurant offering vegan and vegetarian food, that fact did amaze me really. If you want to stay overnight there are two parts, one is renovated and the other not. We have been staying in the original part because of the top floor and view on the mountains with more cliffs which has been accompanied by a beautifull scenic sunn in the morning. (The window was a bit small but it was worth it.

New renovated, all food is bio and fresh, price is okay if you consider that they have to carry everything on the top. If you stay overnight there you will have a great choice in the all you can eat buffet (everything organic) for only 11 euro. Hosts are mostly friendly and charming. Unfortunately they don't have drinking water so they charge you 1,5 euro for 1/2 liter, so plan ahead!

Nicely looking house with good selection of foods. We had a stop there along our hiking tour and the beef soup and dessert we had were tasty and fulfilling. We also ordered lemonade which was refreshing as it was homemade and primary non-alcoholic drink that you could order there. as I mentioned, very nice setting and it was well worth the stop on the trip.

Nice mountain hut, apfel strudel is good. If you take rindfleish suppe, you better prefer meat version.

Nice place to spend a night with clean rooms and amenities. Unfortunately, one of our beds was really worn out and would need replacement (last room on the left side - next to the emergency exit). They are also quite short (but this doesn’t go for all the rooms, especially the bunk beds seem to be bigger). The breakfast was really good and all products are organic. Although we went there in summer, Covid numbers went already up but nobody did check on us (i.e. Green pass) or any other guests (including the restaurant) which would have been required by Austrian law. Really a shame because it’s actually a nice place to stay. No free tap water due to scarcity (i.e. the have to get it up the hill by cable car). You can also bring a dog (classic room only). And you can pay by card if you want to.
