★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful area with great scenery and views of the Rax and Schneeberg. The "Hütte" is very well run with good service. There is a 100 year old roderdendum from the Himalayas to the right of the terrace.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Upon entering Austria I was boldly informed that clean alpine water is a basic human right. Upon entering this establishment and tipping very generously for a beer, I was informed that the privilege of 0.5L of water could be had for 1 euro. Waiting 45 minutes for a table while guests stare at you might be worth it based on what others have said, but this is the only place I've been to where I had to negotiate a price for water.
+1-star for convenience and the view
+1-star for the kid who did a backflip on the trampoline outside.
