THE best view ever!! Entrance fee is a bit pricey (€21 per person) but the 2 busrides and the inclined elevator are included in the price. The view makes up for everything though! There are 2 restaurants up there so no need to go hungry. I would recommend going when the weather is sunny or not too clouded, because this is when you get the best view.

Really pretty place with stunning and breathtaking views! I would really reccommend visiting! If you domt want to walk you can pay about 20€ and you get there by bus.

So we drove the road twice , one day after another. So you don’t have to pay a full price twice. The road is very beautiful. If you are going on the off season, you should know that the hotel inside the park are closed.

Unbelievable place. The Journey up is a combination of crazy bus drivers, tiny roads, tunnels, monster lift and beautiful views on mountains and the the lower dam. The upper dam is just as big as it does not seem. 600 meter long and more than 100 tall the embarkment is just crazy. You can not feel how big it is until you stay on top.

Most people take the bus and return. We did the hike, which was beautiful and diverse. Good shoes are helpful, but the hike is not too difficult. After the lake it gets a bit more adventurous including a part through the tunnel and with iron ropes in the rocks. It takes you about 2 hours to get to the first hut, then another hour to get to the second hut. The second is a big restaurant, the first is a nice little restaurant with farm and many animals. Beautiful views on the lakes and well worth the hike. Do keep in mind that the last bus leaves from the second hut at 5 o'clock. Bus drive takes about half an hour.

It was a lovely sunny and hot day as since we were arriving late, we decided to buy the ticket €25 per person and use the bus—-then funicular—-and another bus to get to the Dam. The timing for the second bus wasn’t great, we were waiting there for some time. Altogether in an hour we were by the dam. Apparently you can walk it. Next time I would come in the morning and then walk from the Dam to a Mountain hut two hours hike to to very top of one of the mountain. (See pictures). Also!!! In the bug wooden cottage on the left of the dam, there seems to be a Winter-room to sleep (with kitchen stuff and a toilet) to sleep in FOR FREE!!!Btw. The buses don’t check the Tickets, only the funicular.

I've never seen a double-dam before. The Austrian have built a marvel in the mountains way back in the 40s and 50s, plugging a river stream on an extremely high point, using a two dams in parallel. A lower third dam is located downstream. The ticket cost covers two bus rides and a unique looking lift that gets you all the way up to the upper double-dam. Be aware that it might get a little bit chilly up there.
