★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The views are very nice , to get the most out of it bring walking boots and sticks sadly I didn't so after 2 hrs could have easily left .
The restaurant doesn't cater for coeliacs so bring your own lunch .
The ride back down to the lift in the coach was like out of The Italian Job . scary ! !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was very nice adventure, to get to this location first park the car in the parking area, then the bus will take you to the nig inclined elevator that you will take you up to another bus that will take you to this nice location.

As a small hint, when you build a route in Google Maps to Stausee, it will provide you with directions but you will not be able to get there with your own car or motorcycle. There is a free parking available here 6P8G+V9 Kaprun, Österreich, where you can drop your car, walk a bit and take a bus (24 EUR for adult in June 2020), which will bring you to this place.
