We have been coming here for years. Early in the morning, then it's quiet. Excellent chamois soup.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Kaltenbachalm befindet sich am hinteren Ende vom Riesachsee. Das schöne daran, hier sind schon weit weniger Wanderer unterwegs und hier gibt es immer eine sehr gute Jause. Bilder aus Sommer 2020
The Kaltenbachalm is located at the far end of the Riesachsee. The nice thing about it is that there are far fewer hikers here and there is always a very good snack. Pictures from summer 2020

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto stupendo con vista meravigliosa. I dolci rigorosamente fatti in casa sono buonissimi e freschissimi. Personale veloce e gentilissimo, bagni puliti e proffumati. Sittuato lungo il sentiero che costeggia il lago gode di una vista spettacolare. Qualità prezzo ottima . Unico difetto é il poco spazio a sedere quindi spesso tocca attendere che si liberi qualche posto. Ma ne vale la pena per gustare i squisiti dolcetti della casa.

Stunning place with wonderful view. The strictly homemade desserts are delicious and fresh. Fast and very kind staff, clean and fragrant bathrooms. Located along the path that runs along the lake, it enjoys a spectacular view. Excellent price quality. The only flaw is the limited space to sit so often you have to wait for a few seats to become free. But it is worth it to taste the delicious home-made cakes.
Super recommended !!!
