T	Thirbagus “Thirbagus” Live on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Wenn man etwas braucht, kann man Rund um die Uhr das Personal fragen! Das Essen ist abwechslungsreich und sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind sauber. Man kann von dem Haus direkt, mit Skiern zur Piste fahren und auch von der Piste, direkt bis vor die Tür, zurück. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen!! Very nice and courteous staff. If you need something, you can ask the staff around the clock! The food is varied and very good. The rooms are clean. You can ski to the piste directly from the house and back from the piste, right to the door. Can just be recommended!!

Das Essen schmeckt stehts und an der Schank gibts stehts leckere Kaltgetränke zu fairen Preisen. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne. We have been coming here for years, often several times a year. The host is great and the other employees are always super friendly and courteous. The food always tastes good and at the bar there are always delicious cold drinks at fair prices. We always like to come back.
N	Nougat Stadler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Essen ist grauenhaft. Zimmer sind extremst heruntergekommen. Auch Ameisen waren in unserem Zimmer. Schade dass man keine Null Sterne vergeben kann. Die Betten sind steinhart und es gibt keinen Lattenrost. Zudem haben wir für unser Wasser nicht einmal Gläser bekommen, sondern mussten aus Tassen trinken. Food is awful. Rooms are extremely run down. There were also ants in our room. Too bad you can't give zero stars. The beds are rock hard and there are no slatted frames. In addition, we didn't even get glasses for our water, but had to drink from cups.

E	Erik W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hannes, his family and crew were incredible hosts at the Jugendgästehaus Gottschallalm. I had the pleasure of staying at their Gästehaus for two days at the end of January. The rooms were impeccably clean, the food was great (I recommend the Diavolo pizza if you can handle the heat) and the Gästehaus itself was very well located (you could ski in right to your doorstep from the mountain). Hannes was very welcoming from the beginning to the end of the stay - he graciously drove to the rental shop in town so gear could be rented and even to the ATM. The mountain itself (Obertauern) is very vast and offers great skiing & après-ski. The town reminds of a vintage ski-town - cozy restaurants & hangouts and not over-developed as to lose this classic charm. Overall, highly recommended and would certainly return!
