Here you are able to get specialities like Kaiserachmarn or Germknödel as well as more simpler things like a pizza or some spaghetti with Bolognese sauce. The prices here are pretty hefty but this is to be expected as it is a classical ski hut at a convenient location.
K	K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid this place if you can. Food is overpriced in the evening. They have two servings - 1 at 1800 and 1 at 2000. Unfortunately the kitchen can't handle this so be prepared for long waiting. When you eat @ 1800 count you will be kicked out @ 2000 without dessert and people in your back waiting. What they don't know yet is that it will take at least an hour before they get anything. House wine is terrible - that's what the servants tell....and is 100% true- so they force you in the expensive bottles. Obviously this is all set in scene by the very greedy owners. Twice confronted with non consumed items on the bill. These crooks abuse there is more or less no alternative here unless you want to drive into town.

Service here has always been really good, the soups are all to die for, the main dishes are delicious and the waitresses/waiters are all really delightful - the welcome and ambience is really warm. We have been going there for more than 10 years and never have a bad experience. Many times we have walked in without a reservation and they will always try to find a table for you.
N	Niklas Arnell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid to eat here! The food is nothing but expensive (cheap) fast food with no ambitions at all to give the guest a value for their money. For example, the schnitzel was flat and dry with some sad fries to it. It was obviously not made in-house by a proper chef, more like bought at a supermarket... The staff was okay but not very service minded. When we wanted a table we felt that we interrupted and was in the way. The terrible music was also way too loud and it was more played for the staff than that they were thinking of the guests. Eat in the restaurant at Hotel Glöcknerin instead. A way more nicer and better place! Never again Almrausch!
