★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice cafe located right in town at the square. The quality of the ingredients is top notch and everything is local. The corn soup with popcorn was our favorite, but everything tasted good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were getting hungry in the mid-afternoon, and we stumbled in to this café and restaurant in this lazy lakeside town of Fishul am See. I think large seating area under the umbrellas (photo) drew our attention initially. We opted to sit inside since it was sort of a rainy day and there was some steady breeze.
It seemed they offered many vegetarian options on their menu. Food and service were really good. I really liked my vegetable lasagna in spite of the fact I normally don't prefer vegetarian dishes. Eggplants and zucchinis were flavorful with some onions and mushrooms. My wife liked her very good-looking refreshing salad with tofu and caramelized nuts, too.
Folks around us were mainly having some dessert such as apple strudel and ice cream, or having some afternoon drinks.
It was a very nice find in this small lakeside town as we strolled around with just a few stores and eateries. We were glad we made this stop during our excursion in this Lake Region.

The food's price is 13.6 euros and salad was great.
It is located in front of the information center so you can easily find this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding service! I tried the sausages with French fries and salad for lunch and they were great. For dessert I had the apple strudel with cream. Cakes looked amazing too but there is only so much you can eat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On appearance, we didn't think too much. It look somewhat presentable. Maybe the sunlight helped. Staff were nice enough, accommodating, maybe not always with a beaming smile, but there weren't any issues.
The food was surprised us, it was actually really quite good. We maybe had lower expectation, but we were surprised. The price was between reasonable to a little expensive in our opinion.
