Ich hatte außerdem ein ATN-Gerät, welches ich gebraucht gekauft hatte, bei Dr. Mair zur Reparatur gegeben. ATN hat das Gerät kostenlos ersetzt und Dr. Mair wollte mir nicht einmal die Kosten für den versicherten Versand verrechnen, mit den Worten "das gehört zum Service". Wie gut, dass es im Online-Zeitalter noch niedergelassene Händler mit Handschlag-Qualität gibt. Mein nächstes Zielfernrohr kaufe ich sicher nicht mehr im Netz. Möglicherweise kann man sich da ein paar Euro ersparen, aber welch unschätzbaren Wert ein nichtvirtueller Ansprechpartner hat, sieht man spätestens dann, wenn etwas nicht, oder nicht richtig funktioniert, oder man einfach Hilfe benötigt. You might be able to save a few euros there, but you can see the inestimable value of a non-virtual contact person at the latest when something doesn't work, or doesn't work properly, or you simply need help.
