When asked about the reversal, the lady on the phone was very unfriendly, not at all willing to help. Poor service orientation.

It’s not clear how much travel guidance can be given, but the tax refund is available here, the Innsbruck tax rate is 20%, here is the GB refund, deducting the handling fee, you can get the tax back immediately. Of course you have to bring your passport!
