the agent i had contact with in the beginning was very dismissive, and did not want to explain anything (i am new to the country). but then after signing, the consultants were extremely nice and helpful. must have been just that one person.

Overall, I am satisfied with IMV. Took me some time to write a review, I rent IMV a flat in 15th district since 3 years - this way I will try to be more fair as possible. The cons: 1. I was very unimpressed when I moved and I realized that the basement was unusable, despite being stated in the advertisement that I was getting one. Mr. Thomas said it was a mistake, but being in the 3rd floor and carrying a Bicycle upstairs everyday was not my expectations. 2. For that, when I requested a meeting for a negotiation to install a small "Radabstellanlagen", with a roof to protect the bikes, mine and neighbors, the lady that came (which I didn´t fix the name) said small words. In german, "No - have a nice day" - and turn away. Definitely not client friendly. At the moment exists only a NOT fixed steel assembly for 3 bikes only. I assume that, at least, 20 families here. Would be nice follow the concept of Vienna being a green City and bike friendly? The Neutral: 1. Before I make the contract, the "Makler" and the employer that came spoke English without issue. After..... well, no more people spoke English. I won´t complain regarding that, I am in Austria so I have to speak German, but takes time for a newcomer to speak this language and that was not foreign friendly. The Pros 1.Rent is fair 2. the house was refurbished when I moved, and so far the equipment is working properly. I get always an answer for my complaints, sometime it takes some time to get an answer, but it comes and all my issues were solved. Very positive. 3. All documents and bills are well explained, a client area exists online, and the energy provider recommended at the contract signature was a very good option, with competitive prices until now. Hope this review will help everyone in the same situation as me, and give some honest insights to IMV from one of their clients. Overall I am very satisfied and recommend. (but please, consider a couple hundred euros for a better bicycle parking, covered for the winter).

Absolutely unprofessional. I do NOT recommend anyone renting an apartment with IMV. Do yourself a favour, save yourself that stress and stay out of their way. The officer handling my apartment responds very condescendingly and disrespectfully. Moreover, it takes him approximately 2 weeks each time to respond and when he does, the information is unclear and incomplete. Such lack of transparency and respect is truly infuriating. I would take legal action against them, but it is near to impossible to win a case against such a monopoly.

Accessible personnel, quality apartments and very optimized legal procedures. From the contract to the handover of the apartment, the burocracies are pretty standardized and therefore work in your best interest. However, reply times are a bit long sometimes. Otherwise, great experience! Let's see how it goes during the whole contract length!

Waiting for 2,5 month to get my security deposit back...still nothing seems to happen. I have to call call weekly in order to get any information. i would have not thought that I would experience such a poor customerservice from a big company like IMV. ..But yeah- I was wrong. I can can just tell other peole: DON'T RENT APARTMENTS FROM IMV if customer service is important to you or transparency in terms of your security deposit! ....Addition Now another week past ...still no money and also no reply from the resposible people...the more time passes the worse the customer service gets ( at this point there is actually none :( ) AWFUL company!!! Addition: After talking again with them on the phone they just told me that I need to have patience , and that its pretty much not there problem anymore : it's at accounting-they don't care about my problem. After me getting annoyed about having o have more patience the person I talked to just hung up the phone. I wouldn't even call them if they would actually respond to emails ...BUT THEY DON'T! ....Lets see if I ever get my money back.....

Like absolutely the worst in customer service. The person who answered the call yelled at me for not speaking German. Ok I understand she doesn’t speak English, but if you don’t then pass it on to someone who does!! Yelling nur Deutsche and smashing the phone down isn’t how you expect to be treated as a customer of 3+ years. They didn’t even respond to emails for 3 months even after sending reminders. Avoid them if you can. **Update on 14/10 after Aurum replied to this review. ** Claiming that they have been “regularly in contact” and twisting the words and saying that I wasn’t satisfied with their response. Proof of screenshots here of having no response for 3.5 months. Maybe they don’t know the meaning of “regular” ?? Aurum: You are asking me on google maps to arrange an appointment ? When you yelled at me on the phone screaming only German now you are saying I should call you AGAIN to first get yelled at and then to make an appointment ? I think the joke that your customer service is, is already quite evident. I don’t need to extend the review here anymore. If you cared , you would have returned my call as you had promised after I made someone else call and speak to you in German. And English is not an appropriate basis for discussion?? But you seem to have no problem in defending yourself here in English Ps: if you want I can do a workshop for you to teach basics of customer service and also clarify what regular means. I don’t mean it sarcastically.

After three months the heating is still not working. There is only 17 degrees in the apartment and still no sign of that being repaired. I send messages every day now, but no answer other than “we will contact the repairman”.

In case you could, avoid in wide circle any cooperation with this company! Update: Interesting response from IMV, especially when considering that I have received an email from them few hours ago. I have left the apartment with no issues, I have handover protocol that confirms that and now they want to charge me for some work that happened after I left the apartment?!
