A good place to stay, with great rooms and services. Great breakfast if included, a bit expensive if paid aside. Areas for improvement: some parts are aging in the room, no amenities except under demand. Not bad location, although if you use public transport you will have to combine more than 1 line. If you use scooter sharing services is well located

We had a very enjoyable stay on the occasion of my wife’s 50th Birthday in an Imperial Suite. The suite was very comfortable and the duplex layout meant our 15 year old son had privacy in his own living area. The Imperial Club lounge was well stocked with various offerings throughout the day. The only issue was a meal from the Arsenal restaurant, when a vegetarian meal had far too much garlic, masking the taste of the vegetables. All in all, most enjoyable stay. The cake in the room on my wife’s Birthday was a nice gesture.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Imperial riding school renaissance Hotel in Vienna myself and 2 children aged 12, and 14. The reception staff were excellent, we arrived a little early and our room was not quite ready, we were given access to the lounge with complimentary beverages and snacks, the lounge was very nice and the staff there were very friendly. We were able to get into our room about an hour later. The room was very clean and stylish, the bathroom was very nice and we really enjoyed the massage shower. There was supposed to be an extra portable cot in the room for our stay, it was not there when we arrived, I called reception and they brought the bed to our room within 5 minutes- great service! The beds were very comfortable, the only negative was the pillows had an unpleasant odour coming from them, it was not bad enough for us to bother mentioning to the cleaning staff. The cleaning staff were all very polite and welcoming to us, they would frequently check in with us to make sure we had everything we needed Our only negative experience during our stay had to do with the woman who was staffing the pool and spa area. Our stay in Vienna was timed to be our mid point of our trip and we wanted to stay somewhere nice with a pool, hotel pools in Europe (as we found out) work a little bit different to pools at hotels in North America. The pools in Europe have a staff member watching over the pool area and hand out towels. My 2 kids aged 12 and 14 were very excited to go to the pool after we were checked in, we had spent the last 5 days traveling non stop so they were really looking forward to spending time at the pool, I let them go down on their own not realizing that I had to accompany them. The woman was very rude to them, I came down to the pool with them, I did not confront her, but she chose to start lecturing me about the kids cannot use the pool without parent supervision- which I don’t have a problem with- I just did not appreciate being lectured about it. She went on to aggressively inform us that there is to be no jumping and no splashing, her tone with us was as if she did not want us there. We left after only a few minutes and did not go back- very disappointing

My daughter and I spent 5 nights in a splendid room (914) with an incredible view. We enjoyed the Imperial Club Lounge and all their daily offerings. The staff there could not have been more friendly or personable, each one, everyday! Reception was fine, though it's apparent who the "seasoned" members are vs are not in our various dealings with minor instances over the 5 days. Surely time on the job with the top-notch veterans will improve those eager beginners. Public transport was easy from this 3. Ring hotel to everything we wanted to see. Planning was key but otherwise not burdensome in the least. And airport commute with S7 was quick and convenient to the hotel. It must be said, that due to that close proximity to the Station, sporadic train noise was a negative but not enough to criticize the Hotel. We knew the Station was there before we booked. We believe that if ever back in Vienna, this will be our first choice!

Loved the hotel, very uniquely designed. Executive lounge was great and staff extremely helpful. Loved my room which was very clean and big. Victoria Ehrenhoefer at the front desk made me feel valued as a Lifetime Bonvoy member. The ladies at the front desk assisted with all kinds of questions about Vienna, sights to visit, etc. and were extremely professional. Great stay!!!

This hotel is between 2 tram stops. There is a Lidl grocery store and cafe right next door. We arrived early and were unable to check in, but the clerk did everything except give us a key. She stored our luggage and provided a map, indicating the hotel and sites nearby. She was extremely pleasant and helpful, making me feel like they appreciated my choice to stay at the hotel. The room was big by European standards, very neat and tidy. It had a safe and a stocked minibar. The only drawback was the shower, with only a partial glass wall. We couldn't use full force water because it went all over and started flooding the floor. Great hotel. I highly recommend.

Check-in was handled by Kata and she was everything you'd like to find in a front desk staffer. She was professional, friendly, personable, seemed genuinely interested in accomodating our needs and answer our questions. We could check in early, we got upgraded to an Imperial Club Room before we even arrived there and didn't have to ask for it. We were greeted as and thanked for being elite members. Our daughter got a little welcome chocolate. We had the freedom to choose between the breakfast served in the lounge and the general breakfast buffet in the main building and all our preferences, like a quiet room away from the elevator, were considered and expectations met. It came pretty close to a perfect stay for us. The only tiny critisism we have would be the light coming in through the windows in the morning. There are no curtains and the shades hardly block out the light so we woke up way earlier than we'd have liked. Other than that we liked the room, it had a good size, the bathroom had a nice shower AND a bathtub. We ordered room-service twice, the food was delivered faster than anticipated and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. Thanks for a wonderful stay, it made our trip (celebrating our daughter's 7th birthday) extra special.

This was a great experience. I highly recommend Imperial Riding School Renaissance Vienna Hotel. Locations was perfect within walking distance to metro and the city center. The hotel itself was welcoming, warm, and clean. I slept like a log after a long flight. The room was clean with comfortable bed. The water is drinkable out of the tap which I tasted and it was very pleasant! The staff was very accommodating in any way they could. Some of the reviews were stating that smoking was a problem. This is a non smoking hotel just to confirm. I also asked for a room on the higher floor so noise was not an issue as well. I wish I could stay longer. Maybe next time.
